The Infrastructure Directorate is the City of Stirling’s largest and most diverse Directorate, managing many of the City’s important assets and services while delivering a multi-million-dollar portfolio of projects.
This Directorate is responsible for the ongoing delivery of the City’s sustainability program, as well as contributing heavily to the City of Stirling’s vibrant local economy, liveable neighbourhoods and thriving communities.
About the Position
Team Stirling is seeking an experienced and safety conscious Bin Maintenance & Supply Officer to join our Waste Services Business Unit.
As a Bin Maintenance and Supply Officer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring efficient waste management and the smooth supply of essential resources.
Key Responsibilities
The duties of the Bin Maintenance & Supply Officer will include but are not limited to:
Bin Maintenance:
* Regular inspection and repair of waste bins across designated areas.
* Coordinate with waste collection teams to ensure timely servicing and replacement of damaged bins.
* Implement preventive maintenance measures to extend bin lifespan.
Supply Management:
* Monitor stock levels of essential supplies (such as bin liners, recycling bags, etc.).
* Collaborate with suppliers to maintain an adequate inventory.
* Distribute supplies to various departments and facilities.
About You

* Previous experience in waste management or supply chain preferred.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.

This Maximum term (12 months) full-time position is a Level 6 Outside Workforce Agreement position which attracts a salary from $75,442 gross per annum plus superannuation.
To be eligible to work for us, you need to provide, or have the ability to obtain:
* A copy of Australian driving licence
* National Police Clearance (valid within the last 3 months)
* Pre-Employment Medical and DAS clearance
* The right to work in Australia
