Personal Development Coordinator
Location: Worksop
Salary: GBP24,249 FTE (Pro-rata GBP21,451.04) per annum
The Role
The role of Personal Development Coordinator is an exciting opportunity within the Student Support and Safeguarding team at North Notts College. You will be responsible for creating and delivering an engaging programme of personal development activities and events for College learners to enhance their experience.
Your key duties will include:
1. Creating a comprehensive programme of personal development and physical health activities.
2. Working closely with learners to explore key topics such as physical health, wellbeing, and personal development.
3. Organising, coordinating, and delivering events that develop essential life skills and promote active lifestyles.
4. Building effective partnerships with external organisations for guest speaker delivery and learner voice activities.
You Will
You will have experience working within an educational environment, ideally in Further Education/Post-16 settings. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Organising, coordinating, promoting, and delivering events.
2. Utilising event management skills to plan and execute a wide range of activities.
3. Managing all aspects of event logistics and ensuring smooth delivery.
4. Engaging with students and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
You will have qualifications in English and Maths at Level 2 (GCSE) or equivalent, along with experience in facilitating events. Good customer service skills and the ability to work with respect and confidentiality are essential.
Department Info
You will work within a team on site and with colleagues across other campuses to provide a consistent approach to events and delivery. Reporting to the Student Support Team Leader, you will liaise with curriculum managers and tutors to ensure learners access appropriate personal development opportunities.
