Facilities Maintenance Engineer - Ballymena About the Role: We are looking for a proactive and skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer to support our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will handle a variety of building and site maintenance tasks, ensuring all work is completed to high standards and remains audit-ready at all times. Key Responsibilities: Uphold the highest health and safety standards, using appropriate safety gear consistently. Perform general maintenance across the manufacturing site. Collaborate with team members to deliver respectful and efficient support to all departments. Follow site supervisor instructions to complete tasks promptly and to a high standard. Ensure all work areas are left clean and organized at the end of each day. Conduct carpentry and structural repairs as required. Complete plumbing repairs and various site fabrication repairs according to technical specifications and customer standards. Carry out scheduled Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and record tasks in the CMMS. Required Qualifications: Completed training or apprenticeship in a relevant trade. Hands-on experience in joinery or general maintenance. Ability to independently execute planned tasks professionally, without rework or close supervision. Proficiency in using a PDA or smartphone for mobile tasks. Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Efficiency and reliability as a team member. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) setting. High level of accuracy and detail orientation. Creativity and a good design sense. Capacity to work independently when required. Work Schedule: Core hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Flexibility is required to accommodate business needs.
