Goodman Masson are delighted to be partnering with an amazing organisation that does so much incredible work in supporting victims of domestic abuse. They are a forward-thinking organisation going through a period of significant transformation and they are looking for an experienced and dynamic HR professional to lead the organisation through this journey on an initial 6-month minimum contract.\n\nThe Role:\n\nAs the Interim Head of ER & Transformation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation's future. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will oversee individual consultation processes, manage employee relations, and drive organisational change initiatives.
Using your expertise, you will work closely with trade unions, ensuring constructive and effective negotiations that align with their strategic goals.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nManage complex employee relations cases, ensuring compliance with employment law.\nAdvise managers on grievance, disciplinary, and performance matters.\nLead restructuring projects, ensuring smooth transitions and employee engagement.\nManage and oversee redundancy processes\nAct as the primary contact for trade unions, handling negotiations and disputes.\nProvide leadership to the HR team, mentoring and fostering a high-performance culture.\nOversee HR functions, ensuring policies remain up-to-date and legally compliant. \n\nEssential Criteria:\n\nExtensive experience in HR leadership roles, with a strong background in managing and HR operations.\nComplex ER experience, experience at ET would be a great bonus\nProven track record of managing trade union relationships, including collective bargaining and consultation processes.\nDemonstrated success in leading organisational restructures and driving organisational design initiatives.\nExperience in managing redundancy processes\nLine management experience of HR Team\nDeep understanding of employment law and HR best practice.\nExcellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills.\nHigh level of resilience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment.\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.\nStrong project management skills. \n\nIdeal Candidate would have:\n\nExperience in the VAWG (Violence Against Women and Girls) sector\nExperience in the Charities Sector\nExperience within a highly unionised environment\nExperience in managing restructures and redundancies \n\nBenefits:\n\nThis is a fully remote role (office space is available in London if desired)\n£57,000 per annum salary (+ £3,500 for inner London Weighting)\nMinimum 6-month contract\n25 days starting annual leave\nValuable pension benefits\nMental Health and Wellbeing access and support \n\nWe are looking to start someone ASAP.
