Derbyshire Constabulary have an exciting opportunity to join the Learning and Development team as a Planning Co-ordinator on a part-time, permanent basis. In this role, you will be producing full annual training plans and scheduling learning and development activities in line with planning processes and priorities.
Using your excellent communication skills, you will provide advice and guidance where needed and in the training of new members of the team. You will build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand new trends, innovations and practices and apply these to service delivery and organisational development.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. You will develop and commission a confident and proactive approach that meets the diverse needs of its customers and demonstrates its own effectiveness, efficiency and value for money.
2. You will work with regional Forces, agencies, individuals and professional bodies to develop and maintain links both locally and nationally to foster closer working relationships with them.
3. You will undertake analysis of L&D plans and identify potential problem areas providing working solutions to the management team.
The must haves
1. You must hold a Level 3 qualification in Business Administration/Management OR equivalent OR provide evidence working to this standard.
2. You need experience managing data and preparing reports/KPI’s for presentation to senior management.
3. You must question practices in a constructive manner and use a logical and consistent approach to problem solving.

Salary: £23,748 - £28,653 (For part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.)
