Our client is seeking a bright, dynamic, and ambitious Graduate Accounts Assistant to join their London-based Finance Team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively environment within an ever-growing business. The successful candidate will have exposure to a wide range of tasks throughout the finance function, including managing debtors, creditors, bank reconciliations and other elements of day-to-day bookkeeping, as well as key parts of month and year-end reporting.
Responsibilities:
* Managing accounts receivable and payable functions
* Supporting the treasury function including reconciling bank accounts
* Assisting in preparation of monthly management accounts
* Supporting year-end audit process including collection of key audit information
* Extracting, summarising and presenting financial data for internal and external parties
* Ad hoc finance administration where required
The Ideal Candidate:
* Actively studying towards a professional qualification (AAT or ACA/ ACCA equivalent) or newly graduated
* Knowledge of basic accounting principles
* Proficient in Excel
* Self-motivated and driven
