Project Manager (Concept to Completion)
£55,000 - £60,000 + Benefits Package
Seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality results. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, particularly in heavy industry, and a thorough understanding of worldwide legislation across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from initial concept through to completion and handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resources, while identifying potential risks and mitigation strategies.
Coordinate with global teams and stakeholders, ensuring compliance with international engineering standards and relevant legislation.
Oversee the design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning stages of projects, ensuring technical specifications are met.
Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
Regularly update senior leadership and stakeholders on project progress, addressing any issues or delays.
Manage and lead multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring all project aspects are well-integrated.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project's lifecycle.
Qualifications & Skills:
Strong engineering background (degree or equivalent in engineering discipline).
Extensive experience in project management, particularly within heavy industry sectors (e.g., manufacturing, energy, construction, etc.).
In-depth knowledge of worldwide legislation and regulatory standards affecting project delivery, including but not limited to safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from concept to completion.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
Solid understanding of engineering principles, construction processes, and procurement strategies.
Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is desirable.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while ensuring compliance and minimizing risks
