Role Description
Allianz has a new opportunity for a Commercial Business Owner. This is a hybrid role working from our Guildford office.
Salary: Circa £60,000
This role is part of a growing team within the Commercial Strategy and Customer Experience division. Our purpose is to drive strategic coherence and foster progressive change in the commercial business. The department offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate closely across the organization, aiming to enhance customer centricity and implement strategic change while remaining agile.
As our Commercial Business Owner, you will ensure business and change initiatives are identified, assessed for value, and successfully delivered across Allianz Commercial, focusing on customer and colleague outcomes. You will act as a bridge between projects and implementation, managing stakeholders and ensuring smooth integration of changes into BAU, including processes, systems, technology, and roles.
Key Accountabilities
* Identify, manage, and coordinate improvement activities to ensure high adoption levels and realization of anticipated benefits.
* Analyze and mitigate operational impacts of planned changes through transition planning, resourcing, scheduling, training, and communication to embed new capabilities or processes.
* Support development and execution of rollout/implementation plans and assist the business in embedding capabilities.
* Support all change activities, gathering requirements across end-to-end business functions.
* Collaborate with Product/Delivery teams during design, validating that services meet expected outcomes prior to launch.
* Manage change requests as a 'Gatekeeper', triaging and prioritizing them.
* Provide business requirements and work closely with LLT (Product Owners) during design, validating service outcomes.
* Apply Systems Thinking to support stakeholders and interventions.
Essential Skills
* Strong collaborator with excellent communication and relationship-building skills at all organizational levels.
* Exceptional organizational, negotiation, and influencing skills.
* Structured, detail-oriented approach with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively under tight deadlines.
* Proven experience analyzing complex information and driving results creatively.
* High-level research and analytical skills.
* Strong commercial awareness and knowledge of the UK Insurance Market.
* Experience working across different functions is preferable.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
* Experience managing senior stakeholder relationships.
* Experience in project management and delivery.
* Demonstrated political awareness, flexibility, and initiative to exceed role expectations.
