Your role
This is an exciting and prominent role within the Corpay Information Security Team. The SOC Analyst will be responsible for receiving, researching, triaging, and documenting security events and alerts using multiple security platforms and technologies. This individual acts as the face of the SOC, collaborating with others within the IT organization, as well as internal business units and external customers/partners.
The SOC analyst reports to the SOC manager and is a valued member of the SOC team. The candidate will have a say in shaping the Corpay Information Security strategy and roadmap using their knowledge of the security threat landscape.
What you'll be doing
Key accountabilities
* Monitor and triage responses for security events adhering to Corpay service level agreements (SLAs), metrics, and business scorecard obligations.
* Analyze attacker tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) from security events across a global network of security devices and end-user systems. Stay current with, and remain knowledgeable about new threats for continuous improvement of Corpay response processes.
* Partner with SOC teammates and collaborate with other functional teams to mature detection and response capabilities.
* Recommend improvements to management and take action as appropriate.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

* Current Security+ or similar certification.
* Has an analytical and problem-solving mindset.
* Is highly organized and efficient.
* Works calmly under pressure.
* Demonstrates effective decision-making skills.
* Knowledgeable in security disciplines as they apply to Windows, UNIX, Linux, data loss prevention (DLP), endpoint controls, databases, wireless security, and data networking.
