The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving the company’s growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities. The successful candidate will focus on building a robust pipeline, developing strategic client relationships, and delivering tailored solutions to meet client needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within target markets.
2. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through research, networking, and prospecting.
3. Develop and deliver compelling pitches and presentations to prospective clients.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and propose customized solutions that address client challenges.
5. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new deals, ensuring alignment with company goals.
6. Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify potential growth areas.
7. Cultivate long-term relationships with clients, fostering trust and ensuring client satisfaction.
8. Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets to drive revenue growth.
Requirements
1. Proven experience in business development OR sales, preferably in the software, SaaS or Technology industry.
2. Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
3. Closer mentality, with a background in negotiating deals, communicating timelines & relationship building.
4. Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
5. Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
6. Proactive mindset with a results-driven approach.
7. Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
8. Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
