To strengthen the Survey Team offshore, we are currently looking for Graduates to join our team We are seeking Graduate Geologists to join our team. In this 6-12 month program, you will receive comprehensive training and strong support from the department, helping you develop the skills and experience needed to transition into a Geologist position. The Geologist is a member of the Offshore Survey Team and shall participate in interpretation and reporting of all acoustic sensor data, side scan sonar and sub-bottom profiler. The Geologist is also responsible for reviewing pipeline inspection video data. Finally, the Geologist together with the Senior Surveyor/Report Coordinator are responsible for preparing all written reports, survey results from video review and acoustic data interpretation. Duties and Responsibilities Check quality of video and acoustic sensor data and give immediate feedback if the data quality is not meeting the client specifications. Perform all video review eventing and build up events database in accordance with the specifications. Perform all interpretation of acoustic data, side scan sonar and sub-bottom profiler. Plan and schedule data interpretation and reporting, and make sure work is performed in order as prioritised. Prepare reports with responsibility for the results from the interpretation of video and acoustic data. Qualifications Master's degree in a geoscience-oriented subject. Proficient verbal and written communication in English.
