As the Area Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for both the nurturing of existing accounts throughout Scotland and Northern Ireland as well as self-generating and developing new business opportunities across the whole product portfolio including pressure, test and temperature instrumentation to a varied customer base within the industry. This will include producing quotations for customers; negotiating and closing sales by agreeing on commercial terms; attending trade conferences and marketing events; creating and presenting technical product training and demonstrations to customers; and providing pre-sales technical assistance. You will likely have a background in mechanical or electrical engineering but, more importantly, be able to demonstrate 2-5 years of commercial experience of working within an internal or external field sales capacity, selling engineering solutions to a wide range of industries and are now looking for your next challenge. To be successful in this role, you must be driven, proactive and hungry for developing new long-term business relationships, with a focus on customer care.
