Location: Cambuslang
Day shifts: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 5pm
Salary: GBP 42,000 ,000
Overtime paid 1.5
Class 1 licence is desirable but not essential

A specialist within their sector who have been in operation for 40 years. My client is customer focused and ensures constant training is provided to their ever:growing team. They are seeking a skilled Mechanic with a strong background in HGV repair and maintenance. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all vehicles and trailers are operating safely.
About your new HGV Technician role
- Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and vehicles to identify potential issues.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including vehicle inspections, MOT test preparation, brake repairs, and service work.
- Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Repair or replace defective parts and components as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with other team members to enhance overall operational efficiency.
The successful HGV Technician will require
- You will have an in:depth knowledge of HGV and trailers
- Hold an HGV licence Class 1 (desirable but not essential)
- You will have industry recognised qualifications as an HGV Technician (NVQ or City and Guilds level 3).
- You must have detailed experience as an HGV Technician and be familiar with modern commercial vehicles.
