About the Role:
Working rotating AM/PM Shifts (working pattern AM 6.00am to 1.36pm, PM 1.30pm to 10.00pm Fridays 1.30pm to 5.30pm) within a team of other highly skilled line technical operators in a process unit, you will work in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Health and Safety guidelines, to be fully accountable for all aspects of the filling line operation. You will be responsible for ensuring product is filled safely and efficiently, following defined procedures in line with demand. The role will involve:
* Following defined Standard Operating Procedures and Departmental Instructions, to produce finished products that meet all the necessary specifications.
* Complete documentation in a neat, accurate and timely manner, as detailed in relevant procedures.
* Provide backup resource for other areas within the company, governed by production demands.
* Participate in line/area/machine changeovers and ensure that they are completed safely, efficiently and successfully using defined procedures. Work alongside the Machine Technician, problem solving, troubleshooting, routine Preventative Planned Maintenance (PPM) and ensure equipment operates in an increasingly efficient manner to maximise output.
* Ensure compliance with GMP and Health and Safety guidelines.
* Operate the motorized runabout and reach trucks.
* Ensure line performance is monitored and measured by using Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and set Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
* Actively get involved in daily briefings with your team including the Short Cycle Control (SCC), setting daily targets and reviewing past performance.
