About the Role This is a key leadership position working directly for the Global Head of Strategic Insights, providing strategy and business insights to core members of the global neuroscience asset team, and global brand team for this exciting new organisation. In this role you will generate and distil information from a variety of sources such as primary market research, competitive intelligence, and market data to identify business issues, develop hypotheses and recommend actions. You will provide insights and forecasting analytics to all key business planning processes in collaboration with all members of the decision support team, and in support of annual brand planning, annual budget and 5yr planning. Key Responsibilities In this role you will have a broad and varied area of accountability including market research, performance analytics, forecasting, governance business cases, business planning, knowledge management and stakeholder management. Specially, you will: Generate and distil information from a variety of sources such as primary market research, competitive intelligence and market data to identify business issues, develop hypotheses and recommend actions. Work with Asset partners - integral to the day to day operational activities surrounding their respective brand, and work in partnership with the New Product Planning Leads ahead of global launches for new indications. Identify and coordinate the collation of the best available data to support the commercial evaluation of the business cases submitted by the Asset Team to the new governance bodies (Portfolio Steering Committee and Portfolio Committee). Provide insights and forecasting analytics to all key business planning processes of IPSEN (Annual Brand Planning, Annual Budget and 5yr Planning) in collaboration with Finance Partners and Forecasting resources within the Decision Support Team. Work with a wide range of cross functional stakeholders and in particular with the members of the Global Brand and Global Core Teams, these include functional areas including Franchise / Commercial, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory, Finance, and R&D colleagues. Experience required: Extensive experience in multi-geography/global strategic insights and forecasting with role requiring data expertise and outstanding business partnering ability Proven capability in planning, designing and managing market research activities and approaches to uncover insights and answer key business questions Experience of medicine or life sciences is essential Strong capability in aggregating information from multiple sources to develop hypotheses Strong capability in analytical skills and relevant software/tools Proven ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders Ipsen is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and empowered.
