They're seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and development of mechanical systems for a variety of prestigious projects. You will collaborate with architects, end users, and other engineering disciplines to deliver innovative, efficient, and sustainable solutions that align with their clients vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and ventilation, tailored to project-specific needs.
- Collaborate with architects and project teams to integrate mechanical designs seamlessly into overall building plans.
- Ensure all mechanical designs comply with relevant standards, regulations, and codes of practice.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and oversee the installation of mechanical systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
- Participate in design meetings and liaise with clients to understand their needs and deliver exceptional service.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in mechanical design within building services, particularly in high-end residential, commercial, healthcare, or education sectors.
- Proficient in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Hevacomp).
- Strong understanding of current building regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, architects, and multidisciplinary teams.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.
