We seek a hands-on, proactive and commercially minded Chief Executive Officer to lead the racecourse. You will provide strong commercial management, leadership and direction, developing and delivering strategies and innovation to strengthen Pontefract’s position as a destination venue.
You will have significant and successful leadership experience at a racecourse or comparable venue, with the widespread skillset required to successfully manage a diverse entity. This will include agreeing and implementing the annual strategy, leading on race planning, and delivering an outstanding venue and visitor experience. Strong communication skills will be essential, with the personal presence necessary to represent the company, build relationships, and quickly gain credibility with a wide range of stakeholders in this specialised industry.
