Job Description Summary
Aims to deliver the highest quality customer driven software whilst continually challenging, motivating, mentoring and supporting their engineering teams. They will work in cross-disciplinary teams delivering exciting customer driven solutions and high quality software and showcase excellent interpersonal and communication skills whilst efficiently working across the project life cycle to ensure software operates as intended. This is a leadership level role and will blend both deep domain and technical expertise within a feature team and great passion for coaching and developing people in a “player-coach” model.

WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in the Leeds office.

We are looking for a Senior SQL Developer to join the Balance Sheet Management & Regulatory Reporting team in the Finance platform at Lloyds Banking Group; a team in place to implement and design trusted, secure, stable products which service the needs of customers in Group Corporate Treasury and Finance reporting. Our team is focused on transforming the experiences throughout the end-to-end colleague lifecycle enabled by technology.
Here’s where you’ll make a difference:
* Prototyping and developing ETL routines and data storage solutions with a strong focus on performance, reliability and maintainability.
* Writing test scripts, code reviews and technical documentation.
* Participating in the agile process to produce rapid delivery of customer features.
What you’ll need:
* Comprehensive experience of SQL Server; T-SQL, best practices, performance tuning.
* Proficient in C#, Visual Studio and Unit Testing.
* Experience of developing reports in SSIS, SSRS and SSAS would be a distinct advantage.
* Knowledge of Data Warehousing methodologies and concepts.
* Experience of working within agile project management framework including JIRA.
