Gap Year Sports Assistant Part-time, fixed term contract Start date: September 2025 Sir William Perkins's school is looking to appoint a Gap Year/Graduate Sports Assistant who will perform a supporting role in the successful and effective running and development of our thriving Physical Education Department. You will be accountable to the Director of Sport and will be responsible for assisting the delivery of PE lessons and co-curricular sport across all year groups. You will also work closely with the Director of Sport to support the development of the School's Sporting Teams. Netball and Hockey are the major sports at Sir William Perkins’s School with significant curriculum and co-curricular time devoted to football, cricket and athletics too. We would love to hear from you if you are passionate and enthusiastic about sport, have excellent organisational and time management skills with: experience of playing/coaching netball and/or hockey at a high level; ability to umpire netball and/or hockey at a good standard; good knowledge of football, cricket and athletics; ability to create a stimulating and safe learning environment which fosters engagement, energy and excellence; and previous experience of working with young people How to apply Please complete the online application form.
