Position: Quantity Surveyor Location: Falkirk The Company: Our client is a well-respected civil engineering contractor, specialising in infrastructure and groundworks projects throughout Scotland. Role Overview: Owing to continued growth, our client is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. The successful candidate will work closely with project leads to support the delivery of high-quality services, provide expert guidance on contract conditions and commercial matters, and ensure accurate financial management throughout project lifecycles. Key Responsibilities: Carry out monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) Maximise valuations and ensure timely certification and payment Manage contract variations promptly and effectively Forecast costs and value across all trades Collaborate with the operational team to secure labour, materials, and subcontractors, ensuring project delivery on time and within budget Monitor site progress and issue required contractual notices in line with procedures and deadlines Review quotations for compliance with specifications, securing the most competitive bids Prepare and agree Final Accounts Accurately manage subcontractor accounts to enhance overall contract performance Requirements: Degree in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification 2–3 years’ proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on civil engineering projects Familiarity with NEC contracts would be advantageous Full UK driving licence Benefits: Highly competitive salary Company car Long-term job security, supported by a strong pipeline of secured work How to Apply: If this role aligns with your skills and career goals, please apply with your most recent CV.
