We are looking for experienced Warehouse Operative to join our client in their Whitstable office and surrounding stores in Kent. our client is an independent organisation who provide accommodation services to numerous organisations across the UK and continues to develop its business in both central and local government as well as the charitable section.
This is a part time role, looking at 5 and a half hours a day, Monday to Friday. Working on an agreed rota.
The warehouse operative is responsible for organizing large and heavy items in the Whitstable Warehouse, office space and a portfolio of stores across Kent. Reporting to the Property Compliance and Logistics Lead, the Warehouse Operative monitors stock ensuring sufficient levels at all times, whilst working from a daily job sheet completing tasks in an efficient and timely manner and in line with the contract. The Warehouse Operative has a deep understanding of health and safety and always adheres to UK regulations and policies. As Warehouse Operative you will ensure the safe storage of inventory items, prepare white goods and furnishing for delivery to properties and ensure the removal of rubbish within the warehouse and office spaces.
The role is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and will require a full UK driving licence as you will need to travel to various stores.
