The gallery in the House has yearly exhibitions and we have a long term garden vision designed by one of the UK’s leading landscape and garden designers. Work is about to start on the fourth area of the vision, the wilderness garden. Alongside this work we have proposals to extend the restaurant and retail space, as well as the car park. This is an exciting time for Beningbrough and we are looking for an enthusiastic person who can play their part in maintaining and developing the garden into one of the great gardens in the north of England.Reporting in to the Head Gardener and Parkland Manager, you will manage the team of staff and volunteers, creating their activity programme and working alongside them. As well as ensuring exceptional standards of presentation and horticulture in the gardens as a whole, you will be looking after the newly built Mediterranean Garden and the garden nursery.
