Bury has a wide range of Residential Care Homes looking to hire incredible Care and Support workers to help retain independence, wellbeing, and the many years of wisdom and smiles of our loved ones. It takes a certain type of person to care; you will need to be kind, considerate, and committed to person-centred care. You also need to have patience, stamina, resilience, and be able to communicate clearly both in writing and verbally.
Daily Responsibilities:
1. Support individuals with day-to-day activities such as dressing, showering, toileting, eating/hydration, movement, medication, and coordinating personal belongings.
2. Encourage independence and wellbeing through social activities such as playing games, singing, crafting, and light exercise.
3. Provide physical and emotional reassurance.
4. Work alongside and support peers in a multidisciplinary team including support workers, nursing, hospitality, domestics, care leaders, and community partners.
Working in care is both emotionally and physically challenging. You need to meet the requirements of the position with a level head and a true understanding of the impact your support gives others.

Compensation and Benefits:
* Pay ranges from £12.00 to £12.50 per hour.
* Hours range from 16 to 40 hours a week.
* Shifts range from 10 hours to weekends only, waking nights, or morning/PM shifts.
* On-site parking available.
Schedule:
* 10-hour shift
* 8-hour shift
* Day shift
* Monday to Friday
* Night shift
* Weekend availability
Minimum Requirements:
* Education: GCSE or equivalent (preferred).
* Language: English (required).
* Licence/Certification: Right to Work in the UK with no Sponsorship changes (required).
