Team Leader Job Profile Main Purpose To assist the service manager with overseeing the accommodation and support provided at Morley Road. The post holder will be required to work 5 days over 7, depending on client needs. Accountabilities Supervise the staff team Be the main point of contact for referrals, taking lead on voids and allocations. Liaise with referring agencies including social care to ensure referrals are responded to within 24 hours. Chair and co-ordinate the referral panel, sending all information to members of the panel and being the key point of contact. Organise and chair team meetings. Design and implement rosters for team members in line with service user support plans and preferences Be responsible for arranging cover for staff leave. Cover support sessions with service users when required Be point of contact for weekend checking in and out (lone workers) To under take on call duties on a rota basis Investigate and respond to complaints in order to identify and implement service improvement. Oversee compliance with Health and Safety checks for properties and be point of contact for maintenance enquiries/ issues Monitor service users’ compliance with tenancy agreements and take action to resolve non-compliance issues. Implement Target Housing policies and procedures and help develop new policies and procedures to ensure they continue to meet the needs of service users and the organisation. Manage the performance of the team as directed by the manager, so that it provides a consistent support service for service users and achieves targets and standards. Build effective relationships with stakeholders and commissioners. Ensure regular risk assessments are carried out for projects and individuals; plan and implement actions to control risk in order to ensure the health and safety of service users and staff at all times. Ensure support is being delivered to service users as per council agreed support packages Ensure all records (service users, staff, contact sheets etc) are accurate and up to date. Assist the manager to ensure all monitoring data for council is completed accurately and returned within the timescales. Ensure all work is carried out within contractual requirements including recovery star records. Prepare reports for internal and external bodies so that project performance is reported accurately and on time. Liaise with other agencies to identify suitable accommodation when service users move on Keep up-to-date with any relevant health and safety developments, or changes in legislation or good practice. Attend meetings, conferences, seminars etc on behalf of Target Housing as required. Develop Quality Assurance systems as requested and required and help monitor and manage quality assurance in the delivery of all of our services. Liaise with external agencies such as NHS, Council, CMHT’s, landlords, police and others as appropriate. Aim to facilitate a resolution with regard to resident / neighbour disputes. Mediate during disputes between residents and decide on the appropriate action. Perform other such duties as may be required to further the aims of Target Housing. Adhere to Target Housing’s policies, procedures and processes.
