Our projects range in value from £5k to £15m, taking the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on various schemes, and supporting our valued Tier 1 contractor clients in a subcontractor and off-site manufacturing capacity. The Role Core hours Monday to Friday contracted to 40hrs per week. Paid hourly with overtime paid. You will be paid travel time door to door, on top of your contracted and overtime hours. We are hiring for this role due to increased workload across the South East, working across the water industry frameworks we are part of. Responsibilities To be responsible for supervising mechanical installations Ensure that all items are installed to the highest standards To follow and actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment To coach and mentor Mechanical Fitters, Mates, and Apprentices Promote and demonstrate the Bridges’ values when dealing with peers, staff, customers, and clients Promote positive health and, well-being amongst their peers. Requirements The ideal candidates will be versatile, dynamic and have experience with reactive type work on industrial civils sites; upgrading critical assets including Pumping Station Refurbishments, PST/HST/Half Bridges Refurbishments, Experience with Steelwork Fabrication & Welding, Ductile Iron Pipe Fitting, Steel Erecting & Temporary Works.
