Job Description
As the HR Manager you will:
• Meet the operational needs of the leadership team and colleagues and to instil best practice HR practices and behaviours consistent with the company values.
• Support the GM onboarding and take active role in the development of high performing leadership team, proactively partner managers, coaching and developing leadership skills.
• Deliver and embed core people initiatives into the business, as well as contributing and participating in initiatives and projects at Group HR level.
• Plan and execute of operational and strategic HR activity – performance management, remuneration, talent management, recruitment, inclusion, engagement, global grading and HRIS.
• Provide advice to Senior management on HR policies and procedures, employment law and support/counsel management in practical application and interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
• Provide line managers with advice and practical support in respect of performance, behaviour, capability and to manage more complex ER cases.
• Work effectively with a shared HR administration team and central Group HR Functions, whilst working as part of the EMEA region within the Global Supply Chain division.
• Provide timely and accurate and insightful information in support of Quarterly Business Report, Forecasting and Plan processes.
• Lead the union relationship management in partnership with UK Supply GM and Ops manager
• Partner with the GM and leadership team in driving High Performance Culture and CI mind set, where all parts of the organisation can feel included, valuable and engaged.
• Embrace new digital HR systems, identifying and deploying better ways of working in the future.
The Successful Applicant
• CIPD Qualified
• Strong track record as a HR Manager and Business Partner, preferably within a Global, matrixed Manufacturing organisation.
• Broad knowledge of the HR best practice including Employee Relations, Engagement, Reward, Resourcing, Talent and Development, Coaching on Leadership, and Employment Law.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing and leading a team.
• Change management experience and ability to deliver and support organisational change.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
