Quality Inspector
Alfreton, Derbyshire
Initial training hours: 7.00am - 3:30pm, £11.72ph
Once training has been completed, you will transfer onto 3 shifts Monday to Friday (days, afternoons, and nights) and the rate will increase to £15.06ph.
Our client, based in Alfreton, Derbyshire, is looking for a Quality Inspector to join their global manufacturing company on a temporary ongoing basis. There is an opportunity to become permanent for the right person.
Reporting directly to the Quality Manager, you will be involved in physically checking the durability of materials and ensuring full compliance of the products to customer requirements and/or BS EN standards.
Key Responsibilities for Quality Inspector
1. Compliance to BS standards
2. Ensure testing is carried out in-line with production delivery requirements
3. Lead investigations into non-conformances
4. Support business & departmental needs
5. Carry out additional tests for verification purposes (Anodising, Cast House)
6. Calibration compliance
7. Carry out weld assessment
8. Work safely with the equipment
9. Attention to detail of test procedures and test results is critical to the business
Experience Required for Quality Inspector
1. Must have CNC / Milling experience
2. Experience in Quality inspection in a manufacturing environment is a prerequisite for this role
3. The ability to work in a team environment
