Scope & Purpose
The Project Manager will oversee the daily management of key customer accounts, maintain relationships, and lead the Project Team. They should be confident in end-to-end project planning, managing all aspects of projects to meet goals on time and within budget, ensuring successful completion.
Primary Competencies
* Serve as the main customer contact for projects, ensuring all KPIs are met with both internal and external clients.
* Adhere to Celestra's Project Management standards using Kronus methodology and internal systems.
* Manage risk, change control, and create statements of work between clients and Celestra.
* Control costs, review profit and loss accounts, and seek efficiencies.
* Handle daily invoicing and billing processes.
* Prepare documents for Project Review meetings and present accounts to stakeholders.
* Maintain extensive knowledge of all solutions offered and support the team during busy periods and absences.
* Act as an escalation point and troubleshoot on-site issues.
* Understand the specific IT requirements of clients.
* Manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
* Lead and develop the Project team through regular 1:1s and skills reviews.
* Manage field resources and foster relationships.
* Forecast external resources needs for projects.
* Support project startup phases, including financial decisions.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, collaborating with other project teams to ensure successful delivery.
* Serve as the primary contact for clients and major escalation issues.
* Perform ad-hoc tasks in the absence of the Account Manager.
Person Specification
* Operational experience in hospitality and retail sectors (desirable but not essential).
* Experience with EPoS implementation and site refurbishment (desirable).
* Understanding of IT data and networking (desirable).
* Experience managing internal and external project teams with strong management skills.
* Proven track record of managing budgets with strong financial and commercial awareness.
* Ability to handle stressful situations and meet deadlines.
* Valid UK Full Driving Licence.
* Flexibility to travel to sites.
* Proficient in IT, including MS Office.
