Role Overview:
As Social Media Manager, you'll be responsible for the organic activity of our personal and commercial brands across our social media channels. This includes setting strategic direction and developing and implementing best-in-class social media campaigns that enhance brand awareness, engage our target audience, and support our business goals.
You'll work closely with teams across the business to create compelling content that aligns with our brand vision and tone of voice principles as well as ensure consistency with our paid social activity. You'll drive digital engagement with our audiences and carve out a long-term vision for our social media activity alongside other marketing channels including managing key stakeholders to continue to grow our presence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that supports business objectives, increases brand visibility, and engages our audiences.
* Content Creation: Lead the team to create high-quality, engaging content in a variety of formats tailored to different social platforms and audiences.
* Planning and Management: Manage a calendar of impactful social media content including managing multiple stakeholder demands and objectives.
* Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and analyse paid organic social first campaigns, ensuring alignment with broader marketing strategies and tracking ROI.
* Community Management: Ensure monitoring of social media channels by the Social Media Executive and Operations team to respond to comments and messages in a timely and brand-appropriate manner and build relationships with our audience.
* Data Analytics: Analyse social media performance metrics, produce reports, and provide insights to optimise content and strategy for better engagement and reach.
* Crisis Management: Work with the corporate communications team to manage social media crises or sensitive issues, ensuring consistent messaging.
* Social Advocacy: Increase employee sharing of key messages and campaigns to increase awareness. Manage social advocacy platforms to ensure a variety of content is available for employees to share.
* Brand Tone & Voice: Maintain and enhance the tone of voice across all social platforms appropriate to the LV= and Allianz brands, ensuring that all content is aligned with brand guidelines and objectives.
* Trend and Competitor Monitoring: Stay updated on social media trends, emerging platforms, and best practices, ensuring we are at the forefront of digital communication. Produce competitor reports and use SOV reporting to benchmark our activity against competitors.
* Creating a Social Media Community: Bring together social media experts from across the wider Allianz Group in the UK to share best practices, enhance collaboration, and spot opportunities for growth.
About You:
* Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and analytics (Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Amplify etc.).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
* A strategic thinker, able to see long-term vision and how activity fits in with our wider business goals alongside strong stakeholder management to drive growth.
* Experience with social media campaigns and understanding of how to optimise for different audiences.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Highly analytical with an ability to understand, communicate and draw actionable conclusions from data as well as predict trends.
* A strong understanding of social media trends, bringing forth ideas and insights from the next big thing in the industry and how we could use that to gain leverage.
* Ability to manage senior stakeholders across the business.
* Marketing related degree or equivalent.
