An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Feline Veterinary Surgeon to join a talented team at an ISFM Gold Standard Cat Friendly and Exotic practice in Darlington. This role is perfect for a vet with a passion for feline medicine, whether you're looking to develop your skills or are already experienced in the field. The practice provides a dedicated, stress-free environment for treating cats and exotic species, ensuring the highest standards of care are consistently maintained.
The ideal candidate will be RCVS registered, with a track record of delivering exceptional care to both patients and clients. You will be an effective team player, able to demonstrate clinical leadership skills and foster a progressive clinical culture. Experience in supporting nurse consults and Schedule 3 procedures is essential, as is an understanding of how these contribute to the clinic's performance and efficiency.
Your responsibilities include delivering excellent clinical care, preparing accurate treatment plans with clear cost estimates, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will mentor your team, enhance their skills, and complete clinical handovers, arranging patient transfers as needed.
The practice itself is excellently located, with fantastic local amenities and parks nearby to enjoy on your lunch break. The practice is also easily accessible by road and public transport, making it an easy commute from surrounding areas.
