The role We’re looking for a proactive & highly organised self-learner who would be interested in learning more about how we manage office spaces, consult with vendors & look to maximise value and minimise risk of spend with suppliers and facilities. You would come in to support the epic Property and Facilities Management and Project Management teams based out of our Weybridge & Basingstoke offices. Your role will be involved in the delivery of many exciting property projects across our European estate. We will be preparing to start works on a large-scale category B fit-out, of a brand-new building in Basingstoke. During your time with us, we will complete the construction phase and decant from our existing facility. Working alongside a highly motivated team of external consultants, developers, and contractors, you will gain valuable experience in end-to-end project management, customer engagement, and contract management. In addition to construction projects, you will be involved with our in-house facilities Management team and experience the day-to-day running of our estate and the associated projects. This 12-month paid placement will give you the opportunity to expand your knowledge and gain valuable transferable skills in the dynamic fast-paced environment of a multinational organisation. Throughout the placement, you will: Support the coordination and delivery of property projects across Europe, including construction, refurbishment, and office fit-out projects. Assist with project planning, scheduling, and resource management. Help to monitor project progress, budget control, and risk management. Work closely with architects, contractors, and other external partners to ensure project goals are met. Assist with project reporting, data analysis, and project documentation. Contribute to the preparation of presentations and project updates for senior management. Join site visits and take part in meetings with different project collaborators. You will bring: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international working environment. Understanding of project management, practical delivery of change, construction and energy management. Ability to articulate yourself well, both in written and verbal form. Strong numerical and logical skills with an ability to make and justify data-driven decisions. A courageous and innovative approach to work with a self-learner attitude. Fluency in English (written and spoken), additional European languages are advantageous. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint and PowerPoint).
