Engineering Technician
Location: East Hull
Salary: Up to £40,000 plus excellent benefits package

Key Responsibilities:
Manufacture & Assembly: Create electrical and mechanical components/assemblies from prints.
Design & Build: Develop assemblies from scratch for low-tech installations and construct small assembly lines and factory layouts.
Lean Practices: Collaborate with stakeholders to implement lean practices and eliminate waste.
EHS Leadership: Promote and drive Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) goals.
Facility Maintenance: Ensure compliance and maintain facilities across 3 sites
R&D Support: Assist with R&D testing both on-site and at customer locations.
Logistics Support: Manage logistics movements between sites and suppliers.
What We're Looking For:
Essential Qualifications:
Apprentice trained / HND / NVQ level 3-4 in mechanical/electrical principles.
Industry experience.Desirable Qualifications:
NEBOSH General Certificate, 18th Edition, Lean Manufacturing training, Welding Fabrication, CAD, Machine tool operation.Relevant Experience:
Experience in FMCG or heavy industry.
Factory installations and outages.
Working with high tolerance machinery and customer site requirements.
New technology build commissioning on customer sites.
Large scale manufacturing production line installations.Skills & Abilities:
Quick absorption of new technologies.
Adaptability to varied work situations and site working.
Experience with sensitive and confidential customer requirements.
ITAR and Dual Use experience.Personal Attributes:
Strong work ethic, self-driven, and motivated by challenges.
