We are looking to recruit a National Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our Social Recruitment Framework and employability contracts across the country. This role will involve working to and achieving business development targets, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and identifying new business opportunities within the social recruitment sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of employability programmes, government contracts, and how to support key employers with their social recruitment strategies Key Responsibilities Business Development Strategy: The development and execution of national business development strategies, identifying and pursuing growth opportunities to service and ensure growth of the Social Recruitment Framework. Working against both personal and team targets. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including employers, government agencies, local authorities, training providers, and partner organisations Market Intelligence: Monitor and analyse market trends, labour market insights, competitor activity, and policy changes to identify emerging opportunities and maintain a competitive edge in the sector. Partnership Development: Establish and cultivate strategic partnerships with organisations that can enhance service delivery. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including the Social Recruitment Framework team, Social Value Solutions, the Learning Plus team, direct operations and our wider Staffline group. Networking and Company Representation Research and attend conferences and events to generate new leads and to raise the profile of PeoplePlus within this sector Performance Reporting: Accurate data recording of new prospects, pipeline, and vacancies utilising company software and templates. Social Value: Leverage your understanding of ESG principles to align client needs with our broader business objectives.
