We are looking for a Site & Facilities Co-ordinator (North) to join our busy facilities team based in the Sheffield/Leeds corridor. For this role, you will be responsible for organising works related to hard and soft facilities services within the Five Rivers Child Care estate, predominantly throughout the Sheffield, Leeds, Doncaster, Rochdale, Rotherham and North East areas. You will ensure that these sites comply with all current regulations relating to site safety and management. You will promote and participate in achieving the most efficient and economical use of site premises, facilities, plant, equipment, and materials. The role includes but is not limited to the organisation of: • Reactive and planned site maintenance • Fire & security • Regulations and compliance tasks • Procurement of furniture, fixtures and fittings • Planned projects You will be delivering a high level of customer service for both internal and external customers, good level of communication and professionalism is key. Due to multiple sites, you will need to be organised and be able to multi-task alongside proven experience of managing contractors and your own diary management. You must have a Full UK Driving Licence for this role. You will be travelling between sites in the North of England, and must be prepared to stay occasionally overnight away from your home. The successful candidate will need to meet the essential criteria of the following: • GCSE in maths and English - Essential • IOSH qualification - Desirable • Knowledge of regulations and compliance tasks - Essential • Basic understanding of the infrastructure of IT systems- Desirable • Experience of monitoring a budget – Desirable • PRINCE2 or equivalent Project Management Experience – Desirable • Member of the Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (IWFM) or be prepared to work towards this. This role is 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Our offices and schools open during normal business hours however you may need to be more flexible about this in your role, which may include early mornings, evenings and weekends.
