An opportunity for budding software engineers who have achieved, or are on course to obtaining, first class degrees or PhDs in Computer Science or Physics. A variety of development and implementation projects are available and you may have the chance to take on new coding languages such as Rust, as well as continuing to expand your skills in C and C++. The work could involve innovative image analysis applications, digital signal processing or developing Software Development Kits that allow clients to easily implement solutions.
The team is collaborative in nature and you would be working with a group of highly skilled engineers and scientists, intent on maintaining top levels of performance and service to their clients.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
1. An exemplary record of academic achievement, including a first-class degree or PhD in Computer Science, Physics or similar technical subject, backed by complimentary A-Levels at grade A or above.
2. Excellent communication skills including experience presenting your work.
3. Established software skills, preferably with C/C++, and familiarity with Python, HTML, TypeScript / JavaScript would also be useful.
Please note: due to the defence related nature of our client's work, only UK citizens able to achieve a high level of security clearance can be considered.
Security and in person collaboration is important to the company so the work is based at their offices and labs, however some flexibility is available around their core hours of work (10am - 4pm).
