The Opportunity: As the Lead, Global Medical Affairs Data Solutions & Analytics, you will be responsible for leading business intelligence, data analytics, and reporting activities. In this position, you are required to collaborate cross-functionally and globally and provide leadership in developing and implementing both qualitative and quantitative reporting that communicates the value of Medical Affairs activities across varied levels of management. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Head of DS&A to create a multi-year data and analytics roadmap that aligns with business priorities, shaping strategy, managing senior stakeholders, and tracking contributions to business objectives. Drive adoption and literacy of data and analytics solutions across the Medical Affairs organization, ensuring alignment with business processes and functions. Facilitate the deployment of data and analytics solutions by combining domain expertise with data insights, supporting the Medical Affairs team. Partner with Operations and Medical Affairs colleagues to identify and integrate new data sources with existing datasets, ensuring seamless integration. Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of reporting systems and business operations processes, enhancing overall efficiency. Essential Knowledge & Experience: Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, preferably in medical affairs communications, reporting, project management or operations, or management consulting, market research or statistical analysis, including people management experience. Demonstrable expertise and/or strong working knowledge of research and analytical methods, and/or BI visualization tools. Relevant experience in an analytical or senior management reporting role (market research, competitive intelligence, corporate planning). Demonstrated leadership in a matrix organization, able to motivate and inspire team members to high-performance levels. Demonstrated ability to illustrate and report on complex data, distill complicated concepts, craft a story flow, and communicate with clarity. Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Experience: Relevant management experience in medical affairs, communications or market research, including mentoring employees within the company and other functional areas as appropriate. Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Additional Information: This is a permanent, full-time position. This position is based in the United Kingdom. This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and a minimum of 1 day per quarter in our London office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs.
