SF Recruitment are working with a growing client in Northampton who are seeking a highly motivated Regional Sales Manager to lead their sales strategy in the construction sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and a deep understanding of the construction industry. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing client relationships, and managing a team of sales representatives.
Main Responsibilities as the Regional Sales Manager
1. Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve regional targets and expand market share.
2. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team, providing ongoing coaching and support.
3. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the construction industry.
4. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential new customers.
5. Sales Reporting: Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and operations teams to ensure alignment of sales initiatives with overall company objectives.
7. Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of our hire equipment offerings, ensuring the team is well-informed to meet customer needs.
8. Securing Orders: Meeting agreed sales targets on a quarterly basis.
