Our Client:
We are currently working with a well-established social housing contractor in the Northwest who provides high-quality maintenance services to local authorities and housing associations. Due to increased demand, they are looking for an experienced Painter to join their team on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
Role Overview:
As a Painter, you will be responsible for carrying out interior and exterior painting and decorating work across various social housing projects, ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and client satisfaction. You will work across multiple properties within the Northwest, with a focus on providing a professional and efficient service to tenants and housing associations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and decorate residential properties to a high standard, including preparing surfaces, applying primer, paint, and finishes to both interior and exterior areas.
Work in occupied social housing properties, ensuring minimal disruption to tenants while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
Carry out repairs to damaged areas as needed (e.g., plastering, filling, sanding).
Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations.
Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
Collaborate with other trades on-site to ensure efficient project completion.
Ensure all jobs are completed within agreed timelines and to the highest quality standards.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a Painter, ideally within the social housing sector or similar environment.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
Experience with both interior and exterior painting.
Strong attention to detail and high-quality finish.
Valid CSCS card (or willingness to obtain).
Full UK driving license (preferred but not essential, depending on location of sites).
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in occupied properties.
