Job Title: Activity Leader – Breakfast Club
Hours: 07:30-09:00 am
Days: Monday to Thursday
Reporting to: Club Manager
Location: St Wilfrids Catholic Primary School, Burgess Hill

Overview:
As an Activity Leader, you are a central part of the team, specifically responsible for working at Breakfast Club to deliver engaging and fun activities to the children in our care.
The role is term-time only; however, we do run successful holiday camps in Burgess Hill with the attraction of additional hours throughout the year if you wish.
You will lead in all aspects of the club, including the delivery of activities, and ensuring the children have a healthy, nutritious breakfast before the start of their school day. You will ensure that you are an excellent role model and meet the standards expected to deliver our high-quality childcare. You may also help in walking children to London Mead Primary School.

* Ensure children are happy and engaged in their activities.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of the children.
* Build effective relationships with children and your colleagues.
* Lead a range of activities for children of all ages.
* Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to.
* Attend regular training and development opportunities.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
Reporting to the Club Manager, your tasks and responsibilities will include:
* Actively supporting the children and your colleagues.
* Leading a range of activities independently, for children of all ages and abilities.
* Supervising and leading outdoor play.
* Leading Holding Activities.
* Ensuring the children have a healthy and nutritious breakfast.
Working with the HEWs to:
* Understand Club timings and help to resolve issues.
* Lead first aid incidents when necessary.
* Have a strong knowledge of safeguarding and prevent.
* Plan activities with differentiation.
