Water Sampling Technician
RPS has a new job opening for a Water Sampling Technician to join our Asset Survey and Inspection team in Northern Ireland. As a Water Sampler, your role will be to collect chemical and bacteriological water samples from service reservoirs, water treatment works, and consumer taps.
You will be required to drive out to various sites across Northern Ireland where you will collect and record the samples and then return all samples to our client site.
This is a permanent, part-time role with a 25-hour contract working from 8.00 am on Monday to Friday and occasional weekend work by agreement.
The role will be based in the Derry/Londonderry area.

What you’ll be doing
1. Collecting water samples from wastewater treatment sites
2. On-site chlorine testing of water samplers
3. Temperature measurement of waste samples and all samples in transport
4. Return of water samples to the NI water laboratories within agreed timescales
5. Delivery of samples between NI locations
6. Completion of paperwork for quality assurance requirements
