Connected Kerb brings together a wealth of experience unsurpassed in the EV charging market. Our team is comprised of mobility and infrastructure specialists with a wealth of experience in managing hyper-growth and mass roll-out.
We are now looking to expand the team with ambitious and energetic Quantity Surveyors to join us and help scale the business:
Responsibilities
* Complete detailed pricing documents for tender submissions and finalize accompanying contractual documents, including pricing schedules and bills of quantities.
* Assist the Head of Commercial Finance in developing strategic pricing proposals tailored to bespoke client requirements.
* Prepare cost estimates for potential opportunities and provide quotations for customers and clients.
* Assess completed work, manage variations, and lead the resolution of disputes.
* Review and approve subcontractor quotations and payments.
* Advise on procurement strategies to optimize project outcomes.
* Identify commercial risks and propose effective mitigation strategies.
* Act as a liaison between bid managers, project managers, and finance.
* Support project managers in monitoring and controlling costs, managing changes, and adjusting budget projections throughout the project lifecycle.
Minimum Requirements
* A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in the UK as an estimator, quantity surveyor, or commercial manager.
* Strong understanding of financial and project management principles.
* Extensive knowledge of research methodologies, data analysis, and estimation formulas.
* Advanced mathematical and IT skills with an analytical mindset.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Familiarity with financial and project management practices.
Preferred Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure sector would be ideal
* Previous experience in utilities or infrastructure sectors would be advantageous
* Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
* Thoroughness and reliability
* Excellent organizational skills
* Exceptional attention to detail
