We are thrilled to share this fantastic opportunity for two high-calibre interns to join our Interior and Graphic Design teams on a 12-month placement. An excellent opportunity for students currently undertaking a bachelor’s or master’s degree with a small amount of practical experience, who are looking to propel their career within a world leading hospitality company. From day one, our placement students are fully integrated into Team Hilton. Our placements offer vast exposure and opportunities, such as networking with senior executives, involvement in regional conferences and, for some, international travel.
Based in our EMEA headquarters, Watford, you will be part of a cohort of 40+ Interns and take part in regular connect meetings, short assignments and feedback sessions designed to support your development. You will benefit from a subsidised restaurant, a games area and a free in-house gym.
The Opportunities
We are pleased to offer two different opportunities within our wider design teams.
Interior Design Intern
As the Interior Design intern, you will support a range of design projects for our hotels across EMEA, while reporting to the Director of Design for EMEA. You will have the opportunity to learn on the job and gain a practical understanding of interior design within the hospitality industry.
This role includes generic design support across the design team and will allow you to own and manage small projects over the course of the internship.
More specifically, you will be:
* Supporting with design for projects across Europe, including new developments, conversions, and renovations of existing hotels.
* Working closely with the Director of Design to establish design direction and key brand identity elements specific to EMEA.
* Preparing design narratives and material boards.
* Researching new designers and managing designer database for EMEA.
* Creating preferred designer lists for projects.
* Meeting existing and new FF&E suppliers to review existing and find new products.
* Managing the fixtures, furnishings, and equipment (FF&E) library.
* Assisting with general team admin duties for the design team.
* Assisting in coordination and planning of team meetings.
Graphic Design Intern
As the Graphic Design intern, you will support the AD&C team across EMEA, while reporting to the Director of Design for EMEA.
You will have the opportunity to learn on the job and gain a practical understanding of graphic design within the hospitality industry.
More specifically, you will be:
* Creating EMEA AD&C Quarterly Reports.
* Creating EMEA Development Quarterly Reports.
* Creating Year End Presentation.
* Creating Executive Presentations for SVP.
* Updating Quarterly Brand Presentations updates across all brands.
* Creating general and ad-hoc AD&C presentations as required by the SVP of AD&C, VP of Design and wider AD&C team.
* Preparing presentations as required for project opportunity pitches.
* Supporting with design narrative presentations.
* Developing new design driven presentation templates.
* Managing the project image library and filing of presentation decks.
* Managing and updating social media on behalf of the AD&C team.

What are we looking for?
* First and foremost, Hilton is a hospitality company, and we are looking for individuals with a strong sense of alignment to our culture and values.
* Must be a current Bachelor’s or Master’s student with a required 12-month year in industry placement as part of your degree.
* Interior Design Internship: must be studying a degree in an interior design related field.
* Graphic Design Internship: must be studying a degree in a graphic design-related field.
* Must be able to start on the 7th July 2025, to work full-time for a 12-month duration.
* Must be eligible to work in the UK. If you are a non-UK national, without EU Settled or Pre-Settled Status then you will need to be studying at a UK university to be eligible to undertake a placement here.
* Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing).
* A strong desire to progress a career in the hotel industry.
* Must be proactive with a strong willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate.
* Good at planning, keeping records and attention to detail.
* Passionate about driving the right-first-time approach to project development.
* Strong in Microsoft Office applications, Excel, PowerPoint and InDesign.
* Able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
* Above all, you must have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, and be proactive and resilient.
