Contract: Permanent TTO + 1 week (40 weeks) 37 hours

About the Role
As a Technology Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the Design and Technology department by preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe working environment for staff and students. You will assist teachers during practical lessons, help with the upkeep of machinery, and contribute to the smooth operation of the department.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and setting up materials and equipment for practical lessons.
* Assisting in the maintenance and servicing of machinery and tools.
* Supporting students and teachers during lessons, ensuring a safe and efficient learning environment.
* Managing stock levels and ordering materials as required.
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
What We’re Looking For
* A strong interest in technology and practical subjects.
* Experience in a similar role or a background in a related field is desirable.
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations (training will be provided if needed).
