What skills and experience we're looking for
The Careers Officer is responsible for offering advice, support and guidance to the student population. They are responsible for expanding, establishing and improving links with external agencies, and evidencing effective communication between the school’s key pastoral systems.
The successful applicant will have:
• Recognised relevant qualification(s) or equivalent experience at NVQ Level III, GNVQ or A Level
• Knowledge of the pathways and progression routes available to students as they progress through Year 7-13 and beyond.
• Ability to enthuse and motivate students
• Recent similar work in a school or other organisation dealing with young people
• A commitment to positive teamwork and collaboration to achieve results
