The Successful Trainee Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Multiskilled Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, fault finding and maintenance on compressed air equipment including compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and associated compressed air products at customer sites across the South West UK - Gloucester, Bristol, Swindon, South Wales and surrounding areas with occasional travel to Yate for training and parts collection.

Trainee Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Multiskilled Engineer Role
* To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites.
* The Compressor Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of compressed air systems, nitrogen generators, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and other compressed air products.
* Installing compressed air/water & nitrogen pipelines into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
* Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various compressed air equipment.
* Liaise with various engineering departments.
* Working at customer sites throughout the South West UK - Gloucester, Bristol, Swindon, South Wales and surrounding areas with occasional travel to Yate for training and parts collection.
Trainee Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Multiskilled Engineer Requirements
* Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical / mechanical engineering systems.
* Experience as a Trainee Service Engineer, Apprentice Engineer, Apprentice Technician, Entry level Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Field Service Engineer or similar.
* Hands-on experience in electrical and/or mechanical domains with a willingness to learn.
* Strong understanding of three-phase electrics and controls, with hands-on experience preferred.
* Mechanical or electrical qualification, apprentice trained, NVQ level 3, city & guilds or similar would be a plus.
* Background in the compressed air industry or related electromechanical fields (e.g. compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, valves, rotating equipment) would be advantageous.
* Flexibility to travel occasionally to Yate for training and parts collection.
