An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Breast and General Surgery Care Unit as Care Unit Co-ordinator. You will show good leadership and communication skills, be able to deal with complex and varied information and be flexible and compassionate to the needs of the service receivers and team members.
You will receive regular supervision and guidance from colleagues and management to support you in this role and you will be supported to develop your knowledge-base and skill. There will be opportunity to engage in varied, leadership development training within the organisation and be supported to develop your career.
You will be expected to lead, motivate and influence individuals, have excellent communication and analytical skills and be able to juggle the competing demands of the role whilst supporting the Care Unit.

To provide a high level of professional and confidential coordination of the administrative staff for the Care Unit. The post holder will provide support to the Service Manager/Assistant Service Manager in all aspects of hospital and community performance management.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide:

The Care Unit Co-ordinator role is an operational role where the main duties revolve around staff management of several administrative and clerical teams, as well as coordination of the Care Unit's outpatient activity to meet demand.
