The States of Guernsey are looking for a Safeguarding Specialist Practitioner Acute and Community Social Care to join the Adult Safeguarding Team.
The post holder will provide expert advice on safeguarding issues, policies, procedures, and clinical practice which will enable the Acute and Community Social Care Service and its workforce conform to mandatory and statutory frameworks pertaining to the safeguarding agenda. The post holder will also provide leadership, supervision, training and expert advice in the management of adult safeguarding. The post holder will be required to participate and assist in the development of skills and competencies for the workforce. A key component of the post will be to support the Acute and Community Social Care Service in the development of safeguarding activities. The post holder will be an experienced and highly skilled, specialist practitioner and must have recent safeguarding experience in working directly with vulnerable adults and their families within the arena of acute and community social care.
