You will lead our Programme Management Office (PMO) and will lead a small team to ensure that projects are delivered against high project management standards. In the role you will be interfacing will lots of key stakeholders on several varied and fascinating programmes which are looking to make a real difference across our transformation agenda. There will be also times where you will be asked to deputise for the Transformation Support Hub, this will include leading a wider team of 18 colleagues and setting our work priorities and allocations. Main duties of the job The role will cover the following duties:- Controls and reporting : Collecting, analysing and presenting progress information and managing interdependencies. Improvement : Improving processes, tools and techniques; embedding through training and support; and measuring capabilities to review progress and target higher levels of maturity. Information management : Document management and access to information, tools and services. Strategy : Ensuring that our project management approach is fully embedded in our strategic approach. Annual Review Cycle : You will support to the ICB in its yearly annual planning cycle and also support the refresh of the 5 year joint forward plan. Supply and Demand Pipeline : You will play a pivotal role in liaising with stakeholders, understanding their demands and consider these against the supply available. You have a high level of experience working across programmes or portfolios, this may be in a Project Management or Change Management Capacity. You will have a strong background in the role out and implementation of Project Management Tools and Processes. You will be comfortable working in an inclusive way with colleagues at all levels of the organisation, using your strong people skills to build relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers and provide the insight required to make appropriate decisions in a challenging environment.
