Do you have excellent administrative and organisational skills and are you looking for an exciting and rewarding new challenge? If so, the role of Course & Programme Administrative Assistant in the Medway Student Administration Office could be right for you.
Working with other Professional Service Departments and Schools across the University, you will provide administrative management of our courses and programmes, coordinating the delivery of all student record administrative business processes associated with modules, assessment, progression, and award.
Our team plays an important part in delivering the University’s core objectives and ensuring that administration standards meet quality assurance guidelines. The work therefore requires a high attention to detail and the ability to manage conflicting demands and meet rigorous deadlines.
As Course & Programme Admin Assistant, you can expect to get involved in:
* Leading on delegated tasks within the skilled Course & Programmes Management Team, to ensure the smooth running of Course and Programmes Administration is of a consistently high quality.
* Acting as a point of reference to give advice and guidance to staff on policy and procedural matters and information concerning Course and Programmes administrative procedures.
* Ensuring that system data is reliable, of high quality, and consistent with the University’s regulations and business processes.
What will you bring to the role?
* Experience in using databases and student record-keeping.
* Proficiency in the planning, organising, resourcing, and monitoring of ongoing jobs and projects.
* Excellent interpersonal skills – establishing relationships and maintaining contacts with people from a variety of backgrounds.
* The ability to deal flexibly with a wide range of situations and to be proactive.
