Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Home Manager to lead our team in Chesterfield. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills and extensive experience in residential homes, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing home, ensuring a high standard of care for all residents.
2. Manage and support staff, fostering a positive working environment and encouraging professional development.
3. Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and other relevant legislation.
4. Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain and improve care quality.
5. Liaise with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and care planning.
6. Manage budgets, resources, and ensure the financial stability of the nursing home.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Proven experience in a managerial role within a nursing home setting.
2. Comprehensive understanding of CQC regulations and standards.
3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
5. Relevant nursing or healthcare qualifications.
